Symptoms
The change result reports error_code TRADING_DISABLED.
Causes
The symbol is set to close-only or display-only by the broker.
The market session for that symbol is closed.
How to fix it

Check the symbol's trading hoursRight-click the symbol in Market Watch > Specification and check the trading mode and session times. Wait for the market to open or pick a tradable symbol.
